GMC Black Editions

Black wheels and darkened details bring a bold new character to GMC's family-friendly Terrain and Acadia SUVs

Adding the right, coordinated elements to any well-tailored ensemble can improve upon even an already striking appearance. That especially holds true in the world of automotive design - and it's certainly true with the new GMC Terrain and Acadia Black Editions, which arrive at GMC dealers nationwide in Summer 2018.

Both Terrain Black Edition and Acadia Black Edition add new character to GMC's SUV portfolio while delivering the same excellent engineering and premium features synonymous with the GMC brand. These new special-edition models are designed to further accentuate the bold lines and strong surfacing found in Terrain and Acadia's exterior designs.

TERRAIN BLACK EDITION
Terrain Black Edition models start with either a Terrain SLE or Terrain SLT, and add unique black 19-inch aluminum wheels. From there, Black Edition models a darkened grille insert, along with a high-gloss black finish on Terrain's grille surround, mirror caps, roof rails, and other trim elements. Terrain Black Editions are available in Ebony Twilight Metallic, Graphite Gray Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic, Summit White, or Sedona Metallic exterior colors.

Terrain SLE Black Edition models are available in front- or all-wheel drive forms, with either a standard 170-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, or an available 252-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Terrain SLE Black Editions also include HID headlamps with C-shaped LED Signature lighting, Traction Select control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Keyless Open and Start, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.† Terrain SLE also offers available active safety features, including Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.†

Terrain SLT Black Edition builds upon SLE's standard equipment with even more premium features, including leather-appointed seating surfaces, heated front-seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, roof-mounted side rails, a 4.2" diagonal color Driver Information Screen, and an advanced 8"diagonal GMC Infotainment System with personalized profiles for infotainment and vehicle settings, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

ACADIA BLACK EDITION
Acadia Black Edition models follow a similar formula, starting with a well-equipped Acadia SLT painted in Ebony Twilight Metallic, Dark Sky Metallic, Smokey Quartz Metallic, Summit White, or White Frost Tricoat paint. Acadia Black Edition models are highlighted with a blacked-out grille surround and insert, black mirror caps and roof rails, and unique 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents. Acadia Black Edition also includes blacked-out fog lamp surrounds, skid plates, and lens elements within headlamps and taillamps.

Acadia SLT Black Edition models also include leather-appointed first-and second-row seating surfaces, a 120-volt power outlet, Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Parking Assist, a Bose premium 8-speaker audio system, and an 8" diagonal GMC Infotainment System with Bluetooth phone connectivity and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
